Development Updates.

The following provides a snapshot of current development underway at St Clair. The snapshot will be updated on a monthly basis. For further information, please contact the St Clair Sales & Information Centre or the City of Charles Sturt.

Actil Avenue closure
On October 31st, a section of Actil Ave between Brocas Avenue and St Clair Avenue will be closed and ultimately returned to green space as part of the new St Clair Reserve; forming a continuous link of green open space for walking, cycling and stormwater retention.

SAJC Community Club facilities
Now approved by Council’s Development Assessment Panel. Construction expected to commence mid 2012.

Town Centre
Coles has been signed as the anchor tenant for the town centre precinct. Plans are expected to be approved in November, with construction anticipated to start on site mid to late 2012.

Precinct 1
Civil works are now complete.

Precinct 2
Earthworks have commenced.

Waterways
A landscape architect/environmental designer has been appointed and design work and earthworks has commenced.

St Clair Reserve
New playground equipment and picnic facilities have been installed. Lighting towers have been installed and are expected to be operational from November.
