You can have it all with a townhouse at St Clair.
Ecological viewing boardwalks
The stormwater retention features at St Clair will result in the creation of flora and wildlife habitats. A viewing boardwalk will also be constructed to enable the community to interact with the natural ecological environment, as well providing a link between the wetlands and parklands of St Clair. The community will also include a Biodiversity Corridor to encourage the presence of native flora and fauna habitats at St Clair.
Homes
At St Clair you'll discover an address with a diverse range of housing choice, with smart and innovative home styles ranging from apartments, terrace homes, to luxury townhouses and generous allotments suitable for premium homes, all set within stunning streetscapes and green parklands.
Cycling & walking trails
St Clair will feature a continuous belt of walking and cycling trails encompassing the boundary along Cheltenham Parade and the railway corridor, available for the whole community to enjoy.
Parklands & Gardens
Embrace the benefits of living in an idyllic parkland community with an area of open space 11 times the size of AAMI Stadium, featuring landscaped gardens, walking and cycling trails, playing fields, green open spaces and picnic areas for you to relax with friends and family.
Wetlands
St Clair is proposed to be Adelaide's first large scale, inner metropolitan waterwise residential community. At the heart of St Clair will be a large urban wetland of approximately six hectares. These waterways not only add to the picturesque charm of St Clair but will also provide recreational and educational facilities including boardwalks and interpretive trails. An underground aquifer capable of collecting, storing and recycling enough water to fill 480 Olympic swimming pools every year. On-site stormwater recycling will enable residents to enjoy the benefits of private and public gardens being green all year round, being able to wash their cars and knowing they are contributing to a more environmentally sustainable future.
St Clair Village Square Cafes & Retail
St Clair will offer a vibrant, cosmopolitan lifestyle the whole community can share. Catch up with friends, or watch the world go by at a pavement cafe or enjoy the convenience of having a supermarket and specialty shops right on your doorstep.
Woodville road precinct & railway station
St Clair offers easy access to Woodville Road and its train station, cafes, community facilities and shops. The government is proposing an upgrade to the precinct that will provide housing and enhanced transport between St Clair, the CBD and the coast. The new extension of the tramline from the city to the Entertainment Centre, is proposed to be followed by an upgrade of the line adjacent to St Clair, enabling easy access from St Clair through to West Lakes and Semaphore.
Transport
St Clair has been planned as a convenient address with easy access to transport. Centrally located to the main roads of Cheltenham Parade, Woodville Road, Torrens Road and Port Road means existing links to the city and Port Adelaide. Or, with St Clair's numerous pedestrian and cycling trails you may chose to leave the car at home and ride or walk. Handy bus routes along Torrens Road and Woodville Road, plus the Woodville Railway Station offer existing public transport options. The future new St Clair Railway Station will also mean that every home at St Clair will be less than 800 metres from the rail service which, with its new express service, can have local residents in the city in as little as ten minutes.
