Andrea Jones of Prospect is the lucky winner of a Jura Ena coffee machine valued at $1395 thanks to St Clair's Coffee Machine Competition. The competition was held recently as part of the grand opening celebrations for the new St Clair Sales & Information Centre. To win, Andrea simply visited the Sales Centre which is located in the heart of the St Clair Display Village on Actil Ave and placed her name in the entry box. The Swiss made Jura coffee machine, courtesy of Fine Choice Distribution, provides cafe style coffee at home.
St Clair Project Director Rob Bau said the opening of the new Sales and Information Centre offers potential buyers the chance to see the development taking shape.
"St Clair will be a showcase in the inner western suburbs and so the Sales Centre opening featured other great aspects of the area," he said. "Local restaurants such as The Vietnam and Cotto offered food and coffee tastings, while entertainment was provided by the Woodville High School jazz band." A highlight of the day was the appearance of renowned South Australian chef Simon Bryant who undertook cooking demonstrations and interacted with guests on the day about ethical food issues and the use of local and organic produce. Other activities included sustainable gardening tips, wine tastings and yoga demonstrations.
