Parkview Townhouses Just Released At St Clair

7 May 2011

Twelve architecturally designed townhouses released this week at St Clair could be replicated throughout Australia as developers become more innovative in the delivery of medium and high density housing.

The Parkview Townhouse Collection at St Clair, which features two and three storey homes, has been designed to replicate the spacious feel enjoyed within a traditional detached home with floor spaces up to 240 square metres. The park frontage homes still manage to retain the low maintenance lifestyle sought by many buyers.

Flexible floor plans, which provide the choice of living rooms and bedrooms at ground, first and second floor levels, home theatres, home office space, roof decks with outdoor kitchen provisions and expansive views of the city and foothills, are among the features incorporated into the design.

St Clair Project Director, Mr Rob Bau, said today’s townhouse buyers are looking for clever design, choice in their room layout and homes that suit their busy professional and social lives.

“The days of ‘faceless units’ are long gone, with each townhouse precinct within St Clair to be unique and built as a modern, light and well appointed home.”

“With a wide range of floorplans, features and design elements individuality is assured.”

“The design of the homes will help to build community as they’ll attract different types of buyers – young professionals, families and retirees.”

All the townhouses incorporate a minimum of two living areas to provide entertaining options or private sanctuary in which to relax and unwind. The option of a rooftop deck with views over St Clair’s green parklands offers a cosmopolitan space to entertain friends and family.

The interiors of each home are luxuriously appointed and can be customised to suit the homeowner’s personal style with four unique schemes providing material and colour options as well as optional upgrades including timber flooring to the ground floor living areas.

A number of environmental considerations have been taken into account in the design including fully adjustable and retractable external window blinds to the east and roof design to accommodate future solar panel orientation.

While each townhouse boasts its own exclusive courtyard garden, residents can take advantage of the network of parks, wetlands, gardens, walkways and cycle tracks at St Clair, which will become an extension of their own backyard.

St Clair will provide more than 22 hectares of open space to create an environment, which will foster and build a stronger community through mingling with neighbours.

St Clair has been designed as an active community but also recognises that residents often need their cars, so private garages are located at the rear of each townhouse.

This design keeps cars away from the front of the homes, creating less of a visual impact and providing easier and safer access to open space.

Established bylaws covering insurance, noises and changes to exteriors offer peace of mind for residents, while privacy is considered through thoughtful design and solid construction.

Prices within the Parkview Townhouse Collection start from $469,000.

All the homes in the Parkview Townhouse Collection come complete, so it means residents can purchase at a fixed price and they will be ready to move.

Construction on the Parkview Townhouses is due to commence in mid June 2011.
