Local Basketball Club Gets a Boost

St Clair is lending its support to the Western Magic District Basketball Club through a new partnership which will help promote an active lifestyle and grassroots community sport.The fastest growing basketball club in Adelaide, Western Magic is based at the St Clair Recreation Centre, and boasts 26 teams from under 10’s through to seniors.
St Clair will support the club by helping recruit new members, undertaking joint community activities and events and working with the local council on the possibility of establishing a half court style outdoor basketball court within the development.
The relationship with Western Magic builds upon St Clair’s other current community partnerships which includes the nearby Woodville High School.
If you’re interested in joining the Western Magic Basketball Club, they are holding a ‘Come n Try’ Day on August 21 at the St Clair Recreation Centre.
