First Home Buyers Grant Increased To Up To $25,000

15 October 2008

The Federal Government has announced that the First Home Owners grant has been increased from $7,000 to $21,000 on all newly constructed dwellings, for contracts signed before 30 June 2009. New homes, townhouses and apartments for sale at St Clair qualify for the full grant. This is an unprecedented move by the Government to help first home buyers into the market, which is great news.

Together with the SA State Government incentive offering up to $4,000 for new homes, first home buyers in South Australia are now entitled to up to $25,000 in grants.

This Government incentive will only last until June 30, 2009.

You may also qualify for further first home buyer concessions in your state, to make the benefits even greater.
