DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT ST CLAIR

Two prime housing development lots, right in the heart of St Clair, are being offered for sale through an Expression of Interest (EOI) by joint venture partners Urban Pacific and AVJennings.

Earmarked for medium density housing or apartments, the lots will overlook the future St Clair parklands and are moments from the future retail precinct, new St Clair Railway Station and existing Woodville Railway Station.

The lots are 4,561 square metres and 5,544 square metres respectively.

They’re also close to the St Clair wetlands, which will form part of the 22 hectares of open space (11 times the size of AAMI Stadium) earmarked for the development - one of the largest areas of open space within a residential project in Adelaide.

St Clair Project Director Rob Bau said the lots provide a unique opportunity for a developer to contribute to the high quality of built-form being constructed at St Clair.

“We’re seeking a developer that will make a valuable contribution to the fabric of the community.

“Being in such a prime position within St Clair the demand for these lots is high and to make the process equitable we’re offering them via an EOI.”

Just 8km from the CBD, St Clair is proving popular with young professionals wanting to live close to the city and empty nesters from the local area looking for a low-maintenance lifestyle within familiar surroundings. Almost 200 lots have already been sold within the development.

St Clair enjoys easy access to schools, transport, West Lakes Shopping Centre and Adelaide’s major sporting venues, as well as being only 5km from the beach.”

Work is nearing completion on the main recreation oval and civil works have now commenced on roads, footpaths and services in the former Cheltenham Park Racecourse section of St Clair.

St Clair is Adelaide’s freshest new development, master planned and set in approximately 64 hectares with a vibrant mix of parklands, wetlands, housing styles and retail outlets.

It combines redevelopment of the former Sheridan site in Woodville and the Cheltenham Park Racecourse - making it one of Australia’s largest infill projects - and creating a whole new address in Adelaide’s west.

Expressions of Interest close Friday 17th December, 2010
